Southern France Function
In one of our major subjects, we have to host a function every week, a total of eight functions for the whole term. We had to plan every thing, every detail from scratch, but we have the guidance of our Chef and professor in-charge for our class. For every function we have a quota of 40 guests, that’s one guest per student.
Our class consists of 40 students, and every function we are assigned to a different positions. We needed to have four positions inside the kitchen brigade, and 4 positions inside the function room. Even though we are all majoring in culinary arts, it’s no exception for us to learn how to interact with guest, and serve them like real waiters.
We do this seriously, and professionally, not because it’s one of our major subjects but it’s experience the real thing. Pressure and everything.
So last February 1, our assigned country was Southern France, and I was a Sales Coordinator, in-charge of the documentation, and Emceed the function.

Congratulations to all of us! We have big improvements compared to our first function, and hopefully more improvements to come! :)

This is a democratic country and I guess we all have a voice, but not this kind of voice. I recently read posts made by other tumblr bloggers about this school bashing, and she even bashed a great university. Some information states that she’s only a 12 year old, but I saw on a Facebook page (with my stalking skills) that she’s part of the Senior batch.
I don’t know the story behind why she was so bitter, and rude, and decided to make this hate post to UST. But in my personal opinion, it was a wrong move, it was very brave of her to post this, not thinking of the consequences.
While I was reading her posts, I was just smiling because she was so immature. And then she mentioned about CSB, where I am currently studying. “Bagsakan ng mga bagsak” she said, unfortunately, we do get that a lot, in the past, but right now, we are trying our best to make that reputation go away.
To everyone, let’s just laugh at this girl, I’m sure she’s had enough of the bashing too. Let’s wait for her to be mature enough to understand these matters. I’m sure all of us has better things to do, and better things that would make our institutions proud.
To UST, you really don’t deserve this girl’s opinion, I hope you stay ‘Pontifical and Royal’ :)
